Summit and Valleyview Alliance Church will be hosting a Set-Free Retreat!

God has called His people to live righteous lives and be His light in this world. We cannot possibly accomplish His calling with sin in our lives as it acts as a veil that dims our light and affects every part of our walk with Christ. Set Free! Retreat is a weekend set aside to focus on learning how to deal with sin, hurts, hang-ups and struggles that we all face on a daily basis. Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, then you really are my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you FREE” (John 8:31-32 NIV).

• Who can go to the Set Free! Retreat?
  We encourage you to attend a Set Free Retreat wherever you are in your Christian walk. You must be 16 years or older and those under 18 will need a parent to fill out and sign a permission form available at the Information Centre.

  • What is the schedule of the weekend? Registration takes place between 5:00pm - 6:00pm with supper at 6:00pm. After the sessions on Friday, participants go home for the night and are asked to be on time for the first Saturday session at 8am (breakfast is included). Set Free! runs until 6:00pm on Saturday afternoon (with lunch included). Please plan to attend the entire retreat.

• What is the cost of the retreat and where is it held?
  The Set Free! Retreat is held at Valleyview Alliance Church. The cost is $40 (incl. taxes) per person which includes three meals and retreat materials. Full payment of $40 is due when you register in order to secure your spot.

• What do I need to bring?
  You will need to bring your Bible, a notebook and a pen. Above all, bring a heart that is willing to be ministered to by the Lord Himself!
